6 Week Workshop in our specialty studio with Master Instructor Kelley Atlee SATURDAYS 7:30-8:30AM OCTOBER 7—NOVEMBER 11
A perfect compliment to those currently taking barre, as well as those new to barre class. This workshop will focus on technique and fundamentals, focusing on proper posture/spinal alignment, port de bras (movement of the upper body), sustained abdominal engagement and balance, accurate placement of the hips, knees, and ankles as well as an emphasis on foot strength and articulation. You will learn how to move your body with focus, precision and strength, enabling a complete athletic, mindful experience. When taught and executed correctly, Ballet combined with the benefits of proper stretching techniques, can be healing and restorative for the entire body, and can improve performance in many other physical pursuits.
